Director Vijayakanth's Viruthagiri

Vijayakanth was supposed to don the greasepaint for Viruthagiri soon after his Mariyadhai hit the screens. However, the actor-politician decided to take a break and here he is now with a new announcement.

Apparently, Viruthagiri will hit the floors very soon and the ground work is already on. In fact, Vijayakanth has decided to pen the screen play and direct the film as well. Source close to him say that he is busy writing the screenplay and once this is done, he would commence with the shooting.

Vijay entry in politics

Vijay has confirmed that he had held discussions on entering the political arena. The actor, however, has not made any decision as of now. Vijay recently held discussions with his fans associations on his future plans. News spread like wild fire that he would soon start his political party and the groundwork is on. The actor said that he is conducting a thorough research and getting feedback from various sections of people.

The actor apologized to Vijayakanth on an alleged statement made by his director father SA Chandrasekar that Vijayakanth is scared of Vijay’s entry to politics. The Illayathalapathi said that the statement was misinterpreted by the press.
