Divya does trisha's charactor
Prakash Raj had always maintained that Abhiyum Naanum, which he had produced, will remain close to his heart. The film had Trisha play Prakash Raj’s daughter and beautifully etches out the relationship between a father and daughter.
Soon after the success of the film in Tamil, it was decided to remake it in Kannada and this time around Prakash Raj decided to don the director’s cap himself. The groundwork for the remake has been completed. As per our sources Divya Spandana has been roped in to play the role that Trisha had portrayed in Tamil.
Abhiyum Naanum had catapulted the star status of Trisha several notches up because it had ample scope for her to perform. With Divya taking up the same role, it needs to seen if it works wonders in her career too.

Gautham's next direction in Telugu Movie
There were always speculations that he would be directing Mahesh Babu. However, this time around, Gautham would wield the megaphone for the star kid Naga Chaithanya, son of Telugu star Nagarjuna. This film will be produced by actor Krishna’s daughter Manjula for Indira Productions and the music will be scored by double Oscar winner A R Rahman. The film was launched amidst much fanfare a couple of days back in Hyderabad. Heroine is yet to be finalized. While talking at the launch Gautham said that like all his other films, this film also would be a musical fare and would be a soft romantic flick.

Gautham's next movie music director
Director Gautham Menon’s Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaya is creating a huge expectation among the fans. With Silambarasan and Trisha starring in the film, the expectation just soared higher.AR Rahman has scored the music for VTV and all the songs are said to have come out well. The director also has plans to sign up Rahman for his next venture. Does that mean he would never consider working with his close pal Harris Jeyaraj again? In a recent interview to a magazine, Gautham said that the decision was made by Harris. Could it mean that this successful duo will patch up at some stage?

Simbu getting ready for marriage
Silambarasan looks fresh and energized after returning from Vinnai Thandi Varuvaya shoot from Malta islands in Europe. The unit was stationed there for some time to shoot AR Rahman’s two song sequences. The stills of VTV reveal an all new dashing Silambarasan with a fresh Trisha and the pair’s chemistry sure do sizzle. While talking about the film to a vernacular tabloid recently, Silambarasan has reiterated that he is rediscovering himself with Gautham Vasudev Menon. On a different note, the most eligible bachelor of Kollywood stated that he is ready for marriage and has informed his folks to scout for a suitable girl. Some of the conditions he had mentioned were that the girl should be appreciative in nature. It would be nice if she knows about dance. It is not an issue if she does not know cooking. But most of all he wants his bride to be beautiful as he is keen to have beautiful children. So… all those girls out there, if you satisfy these conditions, please approach Silambarasan’s parents immediately!

Gautham's Plan on Vinnai Thandi Varuvaya
Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaaya, which started with a bang and was reportedly going on at a great pace, has seen a sudden slackening in proceedings. The reason reportedly is that director Gautham Menon doesn’t seem too keen on getting on with it at the same pace as the initial stages. Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaaya is not being made in Tamil alone, it is also being reportedly planned in Telugu with Mahesh Babu in the lead. However, Mahesh Babu’s dates are not available for at least a couple of months and there is no way that the Telugu version can begin until his dates are confirmed.
With the same story, Gautham wants the two films to be completed and released simultaneously. He seems to think that any one of them releasing earlier would affect the chances of the latter, especially if the box office results were not favorable. Added to this is the fact that he also plans to use Rahman’s tunes for the Telugu version too. With the kind of reach that Rahman’s music has, any one album releasing ahead of the other will rob all the novelty off the one following it. So, weighing his options, Gautham seems to have decided that Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaaya need not sprint to completion as earlier planned.
This seems fine with everyone except Silambarasan. He has acted in two get ups in VTV, one of which has a full grown beard. With film’s shooting not moving as expected, he has been left with his beard in place, unable to take part in any other shooting.

Trisha is really excited about starring in the Bollywood film Khatta Meeta opposite Akshay Kumar. The film is to be directed by Priyadarshan and produced by Akshay’s home production Hari Om Productions. Incidentally, it was in Priyadarshan’s Lesa Lesa that Trisha made her debut. When questioned if her move to foray into Bollywood is a wanted attempt to follow the footsteps of her arch rival Asin, Trisha said that she never considered Asin to be her rival even while the actress was acting in Tamil and Telugu ventures and therefore there is no reason to consider her as a rival now. Trisha turns glamorous for Bollywood
Director Priyadarshan has signed up Trisha to play the lead role in his forthcoming Bollywood flick. Speaking about her role, Trisha said that she was aware that Bollywood films require heroines to be glamorous and this venture has enough scope for that. The lady had been waiting for a good opportunity to foray in to Bollywood, with a good banner, an ace director and a well-established hero; it is definitely a chance of a lifetime for the actress.
Trisha revealed that she bagged the role only after the hero, Akshay Kumar was confident of her acting skills. News from Bollywood is that Akshay ensured Trisha’s suitability only after watching her Tamil and Telugu films. Trisha added that she does not mind acting in any language as long as the story is good.
