Tamanna with Jayam ravi

Shaam’s popularity is on the rise ever since the Telugu film Kick hit the screens. The actor’s role in Kick – that of a police officer – received rave accolades. With the film’s success reaching the hilt, director Jayam Raja had decided to remake it in Tamil. While his brother, actor Jayam Ravi, has been signed up to play the lead role, the production house was negotiating with Shaam to take up the role he portrayed so beautifully in the Telugu version. The latest buzz is that Shaam had agreed to don the greasepaint once again and this time his role has been increased significantly to give him the mileage he deserves.

Tamanna has been roped in to play the female lead in the film, sources say.

Will shaam act with Jayam Ravi

Jeyam’ Company remaking the recent Tollywood blockbuster ‘Kick’ has been hundred-times heard story, but here’s something more on the headlines. The Telugu version had Ravi Teja, Ileana in lead roles with Shaam as the parallel hero. Perhaps, with the film getting remade here by ‘Jeyam’ Raja and his brother Ravi on lead roles, it’s a big question whether Shaam would agree to do the supporting actor.

Although Shaam in an interview had mentioned that he never cares about multi-hero based subjects, this is something to think about. Both the actors are so competitive in the town and we aren’t sure about Shaam signing for the deal. Meanwhile, Raja is planning to rope in Ileana for the remake.
