Velu Prabakaran relents a little

If one remains stubborn about wanting to eat only biriyani in a deserted forest, he would definitely have to go hungry. After some time, this truth has been realized by Velu Prabhakaran. Like the aadi breezes raise dust, a Velu Prabhakaran film always raises debates. So it is with 'Kaadhal Arangham.' The film has been involved in many troubles with the Censor Board. The main reason is the semi nude scenes of the heroine Sheryl Das.

The Censor Board members would not accept any explanation that Velu Prabhakaran offered. His approaching higher-ups also ended in failure. Only after editing out the semi nude scene could the film be released, was the condition. Velu Prabhakaran refused to cut out the scene. That's why 'Kaadhal Arangham' has been in the cans for the past 4 years.

Wanting to retrieve at least part of the investment, Velu Prabhakaran has finally decided to toe the line drawn by the Censor Board. So, he is now re-titling the film as 'Velu Prabhakaranin Kaadhal Kadhai' and is busy getting the prints ready for release.
