Tharun’s views, directors unhappy

The director of Mayandi Kudumbathar, Rasu Madhuvaran condemned director-actor Tharun Gopi for verbally attacking the actors and particularly targeting Vishal and Silambarasan. The director said that none of the star-directors in Mayandi Kudumbathar was comfortable with the speech Tharun made during the audio launch.

Rasu added that a director gets the chance of his life time – to direct a film – only when the actor agrees to star in the film. According to Rasu, a director should concentrate on his work and not let others wield an influence over him or her.

The director added that other directors, including Seeman, were not comfortable with the speech made by Tharun and would like to distance themselves from his views.
