Gossips on Priyamani Marriage

Paruthiveeran-fame Priyamani refuted claims of few tabloids that supposedly published news about her wedding with the Tollywood star Tharun. She met the press to clarify her stand that the claims were rumors. “Tharun is a good friend of mine and there is nothing more to it,” she clarified.

Priyamani’s Ninaithale Inikkum released over the past weekend to positive reviews. Her performance in the movie also came in for appreciation by critics.

Heroine for Ameer's next movie

Yogi, which has director Ameer in the lead role, is nearing completion and the film has been made at an estimated cost of 11 crore.

Speaking on this, Ameer said that the movie is picturized in a slum and when the audience see the movie they will know the reason for the huge production cost.

The director is now planning his new project Kannabiran with Jayam Ravi in the lead. He is scouting for a heroine and has said that Priyamani may fit the bill.

After Paruthiveeran the director and the heroine developed difference of opinion and it is believed that the misunderstanding has been sorted out. Ameer said that it is just a view that Priyamani will fit the slot but nothing has been finalized yet.

Priya Mani leads Aishwarya Rai role

Shooting of ace director Mani Ratnam’s Ravan is slowly picking up momentum after a temporary lull especially after the replacement of its cinematographer and the director’s poor health. Priya Mani who is said to be donning an important role in the film has recently mentioned in an interview to a magazine that though the film Ravan immediately brings Aishwarya Rai’s name to the fore, with the release of the film, things would change and she would be the talk of the town. Rajini’s loss is Bharath’s gain

The Bharath-starrer Arumugam’s audio launch took place yesterday (June 4th, 2009). This film has Priyamani playing Bharath’s arm candy and Ramya Krishnan in a very important role. Suresh Krishna is donning the director’s cap.

Apparently, when Suresh mentioned about the film to Rajinikanth, the Superstar felt that he could have used the title earlier. Rajini had mentioned to Suresh that the title has mass appeal and regretted missing it. Reacting to this, Bharath said that he is happy to star in a film which had such an appealing title.

Arumugam’s music is scored by Deva and the lyrics have been penned by director Perarasu and Pa Vijay.
