Asal Shooting schedule...

After wrapping up the Malaysian shoot schedules recently, Ajith and the Asal team including director Charan and Sameera Reddy moved on to France to continue with the shooting after a brief break in Chennai. Charan is expected to film a few significant sequences including a couple of songs in France.

Asal, directed by Charan, features Ajith in a style of quirky-side-burns-connected-to-the-thick-moustache and has already raised a few eyebrows. Sameera Reddy and Bhavana play his female leads. Asal is produced by Sivaji Productions.

Ajith wants Shah Rukh in Asal?

If the buzz in the industry circles is to be believed, Kingh Khan will feature in Ajith’s upcoming gangster flick Asal. Shah Rukh will make a cameo appearance, it is believed, for which talks are underway with the Bollywood superstar. Ajith's Asal status?

The shooting of Asal, which was due to commence last month, has been postponed with no fixed date on sight yet. There had been reports that director Saran and the film’s hero Ajith would go for location hunting to Malaysia or Switzerland last month. However, this did not happen and there was no news from the Asal team on the exact date of commencement. When probed, our sources in Kollywood say that Saran is still tied up with the post production work of Modhi Vilayadu and hence he could not shift base to Asal. Modhi Vilayadu has Vinay and Kajal Agarwal in the lead and is expected to be released shortly.

If Modhi Vilayadu is safely out of the way, then Saran could start off with Asal, say our sources.
