Tamil film production chief arrested

The production house Pyramid Saimira is known for funding good quality films. They brought in a healthy trend in Tamil films and gave opportunity to numerous new directors. There was a time when ten films were launched simultaneously by this firm. They also helped small budget films see the light of the day with their intervention. It was said that these activities were slowly leading them to losses and the icing came in the name of Kuselan which brought the company to unexpected trouncing.

Now it is being said that the Pyramid Saimira has cheated a Haryana based firm for 25 crores and the firm has lodged a complaint with Haryana police regarding this. Currently the Haryana Police with the help of Tamil Nadu police has arrested the Chairman of Pyramid Saimira Mr Saminathan while he was coming out of his residence at Madipakkam. It was said that Saminathan protested his arrest and tried to run away. Looks like he will be taken to Haryana for further investigation.
